The Salming Kobra is a fast-paced unique combination of lightweight materials, cushioning, and stability. The Kobra shoe offers the most stability from the Salming range with higher support to the heel and upper foot areas and has been a favourite among indoor athletes since it first launched in 2016 as a result of this.
The Kobra Recoil has been equipped with the Recoil ERF™ (Energy Return Foam) midsole, a super lightweight cushioning that provides excellent flexibility and rebound properties for explosive movements. In the heel impact zone of the midsole is SoftFoam™, which has 70% better shock absorbing properties than a regular EVA midsole to provide extra comfort and stability.
The Hexagrip™ outsole is a durable, lightweight rubber compound that provides the best possible grip on all indoor surfaces, whilst Salming’s Rollbar™ technology allows the shoe to move easily in and out of lunges, and the LMS+™ provides stability to the landing foot in a lunge to prevent the foot and ankle from rolling over.
As with all Salming indoor shoes, the Kobra 3 features the Torsion Guide System known as TGS 62/75™.
The distance from heel to the ball of the foot (62% of the shoe) has been designed with extra stability, which ends in the so-called ”ballet” line, a 75° angle. In front of the 75° line, the shoe has greater flexibility to stimulate the foot’s natural movements.
A new lightweight, breathable upper has been added to the Kobra Recoil with KPU reinforcements for added support and durability.
